Our bi-axial load frames offer both tension and compression as well as torsional capability. Combined with an SC6000 control system they create a complete Material Test System. Options include crossheads with hydraulic lifts and locks and we can also supply a wide variety of grips, fixtures, load cells and extensometers.

301 Series Table Top Load Frames
301 Series load frames are designed specifically to provide fatigue or compression/ tension test capability, delivering up to 10,000 lbs. (44.48 kN) force in only 1.7 sq. ft. (.158 sq. m) of bench space. The 301 Series Load Frame utilizes a 2-column symmetrical construction with fixed-platen, moveable crosshead configuration. These units are cost effective replacements for the MTS 858 load frames.

302 Series Load Frames are available in standard models ranging from 22 KIP (98 kN) through 110 KIP (489 kN) units using a 2-column symmetrical construction with fixed-platen, moveable crosshead configurations. These units are cost effective replacements for the MTS 318 load frames.

306 Series Axial/Torsional Load Frames are designed to perform static and dynamic bi-axial materials testing. The 306 Series Load Frames are available in four standard force-torque configurations; 10/5,000, 20/10,000, 50/20,000, and 100/50,000 KIP/lbf-in (22.2/565, 44.5/1130, 88.9/2260 and 222.4/5649 kN/N-m) with other force combinations available on special order. The 306 Series incorporates a 2-column symmetrical construction with fixed-platen, moveable crosshead configurations.
